To My Brave Friends,
My name is Giorgia. I was born with a rare and serious illness. Very early in my life, I had to go through major medical procedures and treatments to help me heal. It wasn’t easy, but with the care of doctors, the love of my family, and a lot of strength, I made it through.
Even though I was just a baby, I learned something really important: our bodies can be strong, and our hearts can be even stronger. Cancer is scary, and sometimes the medicine and treatments make us feel tired or sick. But every day we keep going shows how brave we are.
I want you to know that you are never alone. There are other kids, like me, who understand what it feels like to be in hospitals, to be poked with needles, and to wait for test results. It’s not easy, but it shows just how amazing we really are.
Please remember: being strong doesn’t mean you never cry or feel afraid. Being strong means you keep shining your light even when things are hard.
You are a fighter. You are loved. And your story matters—just like mine.
With courage and hope,
Love, Giorgia
